It helps us serve customers better, operate with discipline and continue building a company that can create lasting value for shareholders.” This mindset makes companies like Wex more appealing to job-seekers. When employers prioritize workplace culture, turnover goes down while [recruitment and retention go up](https://www.shrm.org/topics-tools/news/employee-relations/global-workplace-culture-research).
